DRAFTER'S NOTE:                                                                 

           Error: Erroneous cross-reference in § 16-402(a)(27) of the Transportation
Article.

Occurred: Ch. 5, Acts of 1993.                                                   

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:                                                                           

Chapter 228 of the Acts of 1993

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 4 and 5,
respectively, of Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be renumbered to be Section(s) 3 and 4, respectively, AND THAT THE SUBHEADING
DESIGNATIONS "ADULTERY" AND ''APPROPRIATING PROPERTY BY BAILEE" THAT
PRECEDE, RESPECTIVELY, SECTIONS 4 AND 5 OF ARTICLE 27 - CRIMES AND
PUNISHMENTS OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND BE TRANSFERRED TO
PRECEDE SECTIONS 3 AND 4, RESPECTIVELY.

Error: Misplaced subheading designations in Art. 27, §§ 4 and 5.

Occurred: As a result of Ch. 228 of the Acts of 1993, which revised the

               "Arson and Burning" subheading. Correction by the Michie Company in the

1993 Supplement to the 1992 Replacement Volume of Volume 2 is validated

by this Act.                                                                         

SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Chapter 507 of the Acts of 1993                               

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any person who is a
member of the board of directors of a corporation subject to Article 48A, [§ 360(b) and
(g)] § 360A(B) AND (D) of the Code on the effective date of this Act:

(1)     May be reappointed and continue to serve on the board if, at the
expiration of their current term as of January 1, 1993, their cumulative service as a
member of the board from before the effective date of this Act to the expiration of the
current term is less than a total of 9 years; and

(2)  May not be reappointed to the board if, at the expiration of their current
term as of January 1, 1993, their cumulative service as a member of the board from before

the effective date of this Act to the expiration of the current term is equal to or greater
than a total of 9 years.
