In addition to and not in derogation of the grant of powers provided by § 4-501 of
this subtitle, the Secretary, with the approval of the Governor shall appoint a State
member to the federal "Appalachian Regional Commission" and an alternate thereto,
both of whom shall receive such salary or compensation as provided in the budget from
time to time. The State members shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred while
engaged in the performance of their duty in accordance with [State] THE Standard
STATE Travel Regulations. The State member, or his alternate as the case may be is
authorized to certify to the Commission "a local development commission" and to
perform any and all acts required and necessary to carry out the provisions of this subtitle
or said "Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965," as amended from time to
time.

The trustees shall serve without compensation, but each trustee shall be reimbursed
for expenses incurred while actually engaged in the performance of their duties in
accordance with the [State] Standard STATE Travel Regulations as provided in the State
budget.

(e) (3) A member of the Council:
(ii) Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the [State]
Standard STATE Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.

(c) (2) The Secretary shall appoint 15 members of the advisory commission.
The members shall serve without compensation and shall be reimbursed for expenses in
accordance with the Standard STATE Travel Regulations.
6-205.
(a) In carrying out his duties under this subtitle, the Secretary shall have the
assistance of an Advisory Commission on Industrialized Building and Mobile Homes,
which is hereby created. Members of the Advisory Commission shall be appointed by the
Secretary and shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for expenses
incurred while engaged in the performance of their duties in accordance with the
Standard STATE Travel Regulations. Members appointed shall be broadly representative
of the industries and professions involved in the development and construction of
industrialized buildings and mobile homes and shall also include representatives from
building code enforcement agencies, architectural and engineering associations, building
construction trades, the contracting and manufacturing industries, legislative bodies of
local government, the financial industry and the general public.
