Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments
745. .
(d) It shall:
(1) Recommend procedures and methods for the use of criminal history
record information for the purpose of research, evaluation, and statistical analysis of
criminal activity; AND
(2) Recommend any legislation necessary for the implementation,
operation, and maintenance of the criminal justice information system [;and
(3) Report annually to the Governor and, subject to § 2-1312 of the State
Government Article, to the General Assembly on the development and operation of the
criminal justice information system].
Article 27A - Public Defender

On or before the 30th day of September of each year, the Public Defender, shall
submit a report to the board of trustees, to the Governor, and, subject to § 2-1312 of the
State Government Article, to the General Assembly. The report shall include pertinent
data concerning the operations of the Office of the Public [Defender] DEFENDER,
including: projected needs; a breakdown of the number and type of [classes] CASES
handled and relative dispositions; AND recommendations for statutory [changes]
CHANGES, including changes in the criminal law or court rules as may be appropriate or
necessary for the improvement of the system of criminal justice and control of crime [;
and rehabilitation of offenders].
Article 28 - Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission

The Commission may investigate and, subject to § 2-1312 of the State Government
Article, report with recommendations to the General Assembly as to transportation
service and facilities within the metropolitan district and the coordination thereof upon
the highways, roads, bridges, railroads, street railways, and other arteries of traffic; the
manner of effecting the corelationship; and what improvements and new facilities should
be provided for a comprehensive and coordinated development of transportation for the
metropolitan district; and submit to the General Assembly from time to time any other
recommendations respecting legislation which the Commission, as a result of its activities,
regards as to the best interests of the metropolitan district.]
Article 33 - Election Code

(e) The State Administrative Board of Election Laws shall have the following
powers and duties, including but not limited to:
