SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

690A-1.

(A) (1) IN THIS SECTION, "LOCAL CORRECTIONAL FACILITY" MEANS A
PLACE OF CORRECTIONAL CONFINEMENT OPERATED BY A LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

(2) "LOCAL CORRECTIONAL FACILITY" INCLUDES A LOCAL DETENTION
CENTER.

(A) IN THIS SECTION, "PROGRAM" MEANS THE PATUXENT INSTITUTION
YOUTH PROGRAM.
