(2) THE INFORMATION REQUIRED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS
SUBSECTION SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE WRIT OF EXECUTION AND INSTRUCTIONS
DELIVERED TO THE SHERIFF.
(3) THE COSTS OF OBTAINING THE INFORMATION REQUIRED UNDER
PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE COSTS OF THE
ENFORCEMENT PROCEEDINGS PAID FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE SALE OF THE
PROPERTY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall be construed
only prospectively and may not be applied or interpreted to have any effect on or
application to a sale of real property under levy pursuant to a writ of execution requested
before the effective date of this Act.
SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning
Home Inspectors - Credentials
FOR the purpose of requiring a home inspector, promptly after agreeing to perform an
inspection and before a home is inspected, to provide the purchaser of the property
with a list of the credentials of the home inspector and, under certain
circumstances, of the individual who will actually perform the inspection; altering a
certain provision of law requiring that a home inspection report contain certain
information; and generally relating to the credentials of home inspectors.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) In this subtitle, "home inspector" means a person who provides or offers to
provide home inspection services.
