(g) (1) [In] EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2)(I) OF THIS SUBSECTION,
IN Baltimore County, members of the party central committees shall not run at large.
[They shall be elected within legislative districts of Baltimore County or within that
portion of any legislative district lying within Baltimore County, except for the chairman
of the Republican Party central committee for Baltimore County, who shall be elected at
large.]
(2) (I) EXCEPT FOR THE CHAIRMAN, THE MEMBERS OF THE
REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE SHALL BE ELECTED FROM THE LEGISLATIVE
DISTRICTS OF BALTIMORE COUNTY AS FOLLOWS:
1. THREE MEMBERS SHALL BE ELECTED FROM ANY
LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT WHICH COMPRISES 66% OR MORE OF ITS POPULATION
WITHIN BALTIMORE COUNTY;
2. TWO MEMBERS SHALL BE ELECTED FROM ANY DISTRICT
WHICH COMPRISES MORE THAN 33% BUT LESS THAN 66% OF ITS POPULATION
WITHIN BALTIMORE COUNTY; AND
3. ONE MEMBER SHALL BE ELECTED FROM ANY
LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT WHICH COMPRISES 33% OR LESS OF ITS POPULATION WITHIN
BALTIMORE COUNTY; AND
4. IN ANY LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT THAT IS DIVIDED INTO
DELEGATE DISTRICTS AND THE DELEGATE DISTRICTS ARE LOCATED ENTIRELY
WITHIN BALTIMORE COUNTY:
A. ONE MEMBER SHALL BE ELECTED FROM A SINGLE
MEMBER DELEGATE DISTRICT; AND
B. TWO MEMBERS SHALL BE ELECTED FROM A TWO
MEMBER DELEGATE DISTRICT.
(II) THE CHAIRMAN SHALL BE ELECTED AT LARGE.
(III) 1. THE NUMBER OF REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE
MEMBERS TO BE ELECTED FROM EACH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT AND EACH
DELEGATE DISTRICT SHALL BE DETERMINED UPON COMPLETION OF EACH
LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTING.
2. THE PERCENTAGE OF BALTIMORE COUNTY'S
POPULATION OF A LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE MOST
RECENT UNITED STATES CENSUS.
(3) For the Democratic central committee, [5] FIVE members shall be
elected from each legislative district that lies wholly within Baltimore County, and 1
member shall be elected from the Baltimore County part of the legislative district which
is partially within Baltimore County.
