BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL' ASSEMBLY OF Article - Education 14-101. There is a Morgan State University, which: (1) Has the responsibility, with other educational institutions, for providing (2) Is the State's public urban university with a mission of instruction, (3) Offers baccalaureate and graduate degrees in the arts and sciences; (4) Emphasizes an education addressing urban concerns; and (5) Offers the professional and graduate programs approved by its Board of 14-102. (a) The government of Morgan State University is vested in the Board of Regents (b) The Board of Regents consists of 13 members appointed by. the Governor with (c) (1) Each member of the Board shall be a resident of this State. - 2328 -
