Article - Business Regulation

8-403.

(b) (2) (i) The State Treasurer shall invest the money in the Fund in the
same way that money in the State [Employees] Retirement and Pension System is
invested.

11-207.

(b) The licensee who holds the race meeting for which an additional employee is
used shall pay:

(1)     the compensation of the employee; and

(2)     the employer contribution for the employee under:

(i) social security;

(ii) the [Pension System for State Employees] EMPLOYEES' PENSION
SYSTEM;

(iii) the Health Insurance Program for State Employees; and

(iv) unemployment insurance.

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

1-708.

(a)     The salaries and pensions of the judges of the Court of Appeals, the Court of
Special Appeals, the circuit courts of the counties, and the District Court shall be
established as provided by this section, §§ 1-701 through 1-707 of this article, and
[Article 73B, Title 9, Subtitle 1 of the Code] TITLE 27 OF THE STATE PERSONNEL AND
PENSIONS ARTICLE.

(g) This section does not affect §§ 1-702(b), 1-703(b), or 1-705 through 1-707 of
this article, or [Article 73B, Title 9, Subtitle 1 of the Code] TITLE 27 OF THE STATE
PERSONNEL AND PENSIONS ARTICLE.

2-5A-06.

(b)     (1) An employee in a position under subsection (a) of this section who is a
member of the A, B, or C plan of the Baltimore City Employees Retirement System as of
December 31, 1982, may, within 90 days after that date, make an irrevocable election to:

(i) Remain a member of the A, B, or C plan of the Baltimore City
Employees Retirement System; or

(ii) Become a member of the [Pension System for the Employees]
EMPLOYEES' PENSION SYSTEM of the State of Maryland.

(2) The State shall pay to Baltimore City, for those employees electing to
remain in the City system, the necessary:
