SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 26 - Miscellaneous Governmental Entities

(A) (1) THERE IS A CROFTON POLICE DEPARTMENT.
(2) THE DEPARTMENT IS:

(I)      ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR THE CROFTON
SPECIAL COMMUNITY BENEFIT DISTRICT IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY; AND

(II)     CHARGED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ENFORCING THE
APPLICABLE LAWS, ORDINANCES, AND REGULATIONS OF THE STATE AND ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY.
