Article 9 - Charles County

A. The salary for the Treasurer is [thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.) per
year] $36,050 FOR 1995 AND $37,130 FOR EACH YEAR THEREAFTER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the salary or
compensation of the Treasurer for Charles County specified in Chapter 40 of the Acts of
1989 shall remain in effect for the remainder of the current term.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III,
Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or
apply to the salary or compensation of the Treasurer for Charles County in office on the
effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary or
compensation of the Treasurer for Charles County shall take effect at the beginning of
the next following term of office.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County - Board of Education - Salary

FOR the purpose of increasing the annual salary of the Chairman and members of the
Wicomico County Board of Education by a certain amount; providing that this Act
does not apply to the salary of the incumbent Chairman and members of the
Wicomico County Board of Education; and generally relating to the annual salary of
the Chairman and the members of the Wicomico County Board of Education.
