Ch. 3                                       1994 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(I)      ESTABLISH and operate in this State a plant for brewing and
bottling malt beverages at the location [therein] described IN THE LICENSE [, to
import];

(II)     IMPORT beer from holders of nonresident dealer's permits [,];
and [to sell]

(III)   SELL and deliver beer to any wholesale licensee in this State, or
person outside of this State, authorized to acquire [same] IT.

(g) (1) A Class 6 pub-brewery license shall be issued:

(i) By the State Comptroller; [and]

(ii) Only to a holder of a Class B beer, wine and liquor (on-sale)
license that is issued for use on the premises of a restaurant located in [Anne Arundel
County, the City of Annapolis, Baltimore City, Frederick County, Harford County,
Washington County, Worcester County, or the City of Gaithersburg in Montgomery
County.] THE JURISDICTIONS LISTED IN SUBPARAGRAPH (III) OF THIS PARAGRAPH;
AND

(iii) Only in the following jurisdictions:

1.       Allegany County;

2.       Anne Arundel County;

3.       Anne Arundel County - City of Annapolis;

4.       Baltimore City;

5.       Cecil County;

6.       Frederick County;

7.       Harford County;

8.       Montgomery County - City of Gaithersburg;

9.       Washington County; and

10.     Worcester County.

(2)     A holder of a Class 6 pub-brewery license:

(i) May brew malt beverages at a single location for consumption on
the restaurant premises; and

(ii) Is limited to the brewing of 2,000 barrels of malt beverage each
calendar year.

(3)     The pub-brewery premises shall be located immediately adjacent to the
restaurant where the brewed beverage is to be sold to the public.

(4)     The Class 6 pub-brewery license [shall be] IS void if:
