(g) (1) THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN [In] Wicomico County. [, as of

(2)      THE Governor shall appoint three persons, subject to the [approval]
ADVICE AND CONSENT of the Senate, who [will] constitute the Board of License
Commissioners. [for Wicomico County. One commissioner shall be appointed for a term
of one year; one shall be appointed for a term of two years; one shall be appointed for a
term of three years. Thereafter, all terms shall be for two years.]

(3)      (I) THE TERM OF A MEMBER IS 4 YEARS.

(II)     THE TERMS OF MEMBERS CONTINUE TO BE STAGGERED AS
REQUIRED BY THE TERMS PROVIDED FOR MEMBERS OF THE BOARD ON JULY 1, 1994.

(III)    AT THE END OF A TERM, A MEMBER CONTINUES TO SERVE
UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.

(IV)    A MEMBER WHO IS APPOINTED AFTER A TERM HAS BEGUN
SERVES ONLY FOR THE REST OF THE TERM AND UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED
AND QUALIFIES.

(4)      One of the members of the board shall be designated as its chairman.

(2) THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION FOR the Board of License
Commissioners IS:

(I)       CHAIRMAN [shall receive annual compensation of $3,000] -

(r) (1) (I) THIS SUBSECTION APPLIES ONLY IN WICOMICO COUNTY.

(II) IN THIS SUBSECTION, "BOARD" MEANS THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS.

(2) (I) The Board [of License Commissioners of Wicomico County] shall
appoint BOTH an inspector AND A PART-TIME INSPECTOR WHOSE [. His salary].
SALARIES shall be as provided in the county budget [from time to time].
