SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

5-202.

(a) (1) The Board consists of [7] NINE members.

(2) Of the [7] NINE Board members:

(i) [5] SEVEN shall be dietitians or nutritionists licensed on or after
July 1, 1986 to practice dietetics in Maryland, including:

1.       One member who is engaged primarily in clinical dietetic
practice;

2.       One member who is engaged primarily in community or
public health dietetic practice;

3.       One member who is engaged primarily in administrative
dietetic practice;

4.       One member who is engaged primarily in consulting dietetic
practice; [and]

5.       One member who is a faculty member in the field of dietetics
or nutritional science; and

6.       TWO MEMBERS WHO ARE LICENSED NUTRITIONISTS AND
WHO MAY NOT BE REGISTERED DIETITIANS; AND

(ii) [2] TWO shall be consumer members.
