(3) Except as provided in Title 10, Subtitle 4 of the State Government
Article, and unless it is renewed for another term, a license to operate a shellfish plant
expires on August 31 of each year.

(4)] (2) Except as provided in Title 10, Subtitle 4 of the State Government
Article, a license to operate a temporary food service facility expires at the conclusion of
the underlying event or after 14 consecutive days of operation, whichever is earlier, or as
provided by local law, ordinance, or regulation in accordance with § 21-304(b) and (c) of
this subtitle.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Plumbers - Licensure Certification for Propane Gas Services —Exceptions

FOR the purpose of exempting an individual who provides certain services relating to
propane gas from licensure by the State Board of Plumbing if th
e individual holds a
license issued by a county or municipal corporation under c
ertain circumstances
clarifying the jurisdiction of the State Board of Plumbers over the provision of
propane gas services; altering certain definitions and certain terms; defining certain
terms; authorizing an individual licensed by the Board to provide plumbing services
or an individual certified by the Board to provide propane gas services in the State;
requiring certain qualifications for certification to provide propane gas services;
setting certain fees for original certification and renewal certification as a propane
gas fitter; setting certain conditions for renewal of a propane gas fitter certification;
setting certain conditions for reinstatement of a propane gas fitter certificate;
requiring holders of propane gas certification to meet certain insurance
requirements; requiring holders of propane gas fitter certificates to display their
certificates and their certificate numbers under certain circumstances; authorizing a
person to engage in the business of providing propane gas services under certain
circumstances; making the provision of propane plumbing services by any person
not licensed by the Board to provide plumbing services or certified by the Board to
provide propane gas services a misdemeanor violation; making the use of the term
"holder of a propane gas fitter certificate" by an unauthorized person a violation of
the plumbing law under certain circumstances; providing for a certain effective date;
and generally relating to exemptions to licensure by the State Board of Plumbers
the regulation of persons who provide propane gas services.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
