(2) ADOPT REGULATIONS TO ESTABLISH APPLICATION FEES AND
DEADLINES.

[At least 45 days before the examination date, an] AN applicant for a State license
shall:

(1)     submit to the State Board an application on the form that the State
Board provides; and

(2)     pay to the State Board an application fee [of $35] SET BY THE BOARD
NOT TO EXCEED THE COST OF ADMINISTERING THE REQUIRED EXAMINATION TO
THE APPLICANT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994.

Department of Education - Professional Assistants

FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Superintendent of Schools to transfer certain
employees within the Department of Education; revising certain provisions relating
to professional assistants within the Department of Education at grade 19 31 and
above; and generally relating to professional assistants in the Department of
Education.
