Ch. 130

(1)     Specify the interest rate on loans eligible for purchase, not to exceed the
prevailing rate of interest on comparable mortgage loans available in the State,
independent of public assistance or purchase;

(2)     For any residential mortgage loans to be used to acquire homes to be
occupied by families of limited incomes, be limited to loans of a specified amount per
dwelling unit, based on the current [median] AVERAGE sale price of new homes in the
area, as determined by the Administration; and

(3)     Specify numbers or volumes of loans pursuant to the commitment, to be
made in specified geographical areas. New mortgage loans which the Administration
purchases shall be to families of limited incomes or to sponsors of community
development projects.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

(Senate Bill 92)

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Master Electricians - Application Fees and Filing Deadlines

FOR the purpose of authorizing the State Board of Master Electricians to adopt
regulations setting application fees not to exceed a certain amount and regulations
setting examination filing deadlines; and generally relating to the powers of the
State Board of Master Electricians.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 6-205 and 6-305

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1989 Volume and 1993 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Business Occupations and Professions

6-205.

In addition to any POWERS AND duties set forth elsewhere, the State Board
[twice] SHALL:

(1) TWICE a year [shall] hold a seminar and invite members from each
local licensing jurisdiction to discuss any industry or licensing problems; AND
