FOR the purpose of requiring the Interagency Committee on Public School Construction
to assist the Prince George's County Board of Education in developing an education
facility master plan.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

5-306.1.

THE INTERAGENCY COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION SHALL
ASSIST THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION IN DEVELOPING AN
EDUCATION FACILITY MASTER PLAN THAT ENCOURAGES AND SUPPORTS THE
NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOL CONCEPT TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FOR
ALL STUDENTS IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994.

FOR the purpose of clarifying altering the district residency requirements for the certain
members of the Baltimore County Board of Community College Trustees: providing
for the application of this Act; and generally relating to the membership of the Board of
Community College Trustees for Baltimore County.
