50.01.00                      MISCELLANEOUS GRANT PROGRAMS

(J) Lake Roland Dam. Provide a grant to the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore and the County Executive and County Council of
Baltimore County for the repair, renovation, restoration, and
structural and nonstructural improvements to the Lake Roland
Dam in Baltimore County, subject to the requirement that the
grantees provide an equal and matching fund for this purpose.
Funds provided by the grantees for the purpose of providing an
equal and matching fund shall be expended prior to the
disbursement of State funding. STATE FUNDS SHALL NOT
EXCEED THE LESSER OF THIS APPROPRIATION OR ONE-HALF
OF THE COST OF THE PROJECT......................................................

(M) Southern Maryland Educational Facility. Provide funds for the
planning and design of AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT FOR
the Southern Maryland Educational Facility (St. Mary's County)..

(C) Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area. Construct Phase I
development of equestrian facilities, provided that the $93,000
included in this appropriation for the entrance road may not be
expended unless at least equal and matching funds are made
available from a source or sources other than the State (Cecil
County). The matching funds may consist of funds expended prior
to the effective date of this [Act and] ACT, is kind
[contributions] CONTRIBUTIONS, AND FUNDS EXPENDED FOR
ANY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AT THE FACILITY. THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC WORKS MAY RELEASE THE $93,000, IN WHOLE OR IN
PART, UPON CERTIFICATION THAT AN EQUAL AMOUNT OF THE
