fire safety deficiency projects at the Maryland House of Correction
and the Maryland Correctional Institution at Hagerstown and the
budget committees have reviewed and commented upon the
program plan or 45 days have elapsed from the date the program is

Maryland House of Correction (Anne Arundel County):

Design, construct and equip two 192-cell maximum security
housing units (5 & 6) and design and construct renovations to the
boiler plant..........................................................................7,348,000

Perimeter security, sitework, and utilities..........................7,454.000

Boiler Plant expansion and renovation..............................1,700,000

Design and construct Administration Building....................946,000

Construct Gatehouse/Registration Building......................1,801,000

Construct Visiting/Security Building..................................1,494,000

Design and construct New Support Services Building, provided
that no funds intended for the purpose of designing and
constructing the new support services building at the Maryland
House of Correction may be expended until;

(1) The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services has
submitted an approved program plan and a food service delivery
plan for the Jessup region, and

(2)  The budget committees have reviewed and commented upon
the program plan, or 45 days have elapsed from the date the
program is received by the committees............................1,340,000

Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (Washington County):

[Electrical and plumbing system upgrades and cell door
replacement] CELL DOOR, FIRE SAFETY AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS, provided that no funds may be expended until
the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services has
submitted an approved program plan for plumbing system
upgrades and cell door replacements and, the budget committees
have reviewed and commented upon the program plan, or 45 days
have elapsed from the date the program is received by the
