(13) A LEAD HAZARD IDENTIFICATION PROFESSIONAL.
(D) (1) THE TERM OF A MEMBER IS 4 YEARS.
(2) THE TERMS OF MEMBERS ARE STAGGERED AS REQUIRED BY THE
TERMS PROVIDED FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ON OCTOBER 1, 1994.
(3) AT THE END OF A TERM, A MEMBER CONTINUES TO SERVE UNTIL A
SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.
(4) A MEMBER WHO IS APPOINTED AFTER A TERM HAS BEGUN SERVES
ONLY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TERM AND UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED
AND QUALIFIES.

(A) THE COMMISSION SHALL MEET AT LEAST QUARTERLY AT THE TIMES AND
PLACES IT DETERMINES.
(B) FROM AMONG THE MEMBERS, THE GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT THE
CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSION.
(C) (1) A MAJORITY OF THE VOTING MEMBERS THEN SERVING ON THE
COMMISSION CONSTITUTES A QUORUM.
(2) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (3) OF THIS SUBSECTION, THE
COMMISSION MAY ACT UPON A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE QUORUM.
(3) IN ORDER TO ADOPT A REGULATION AUTHORIZED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE, THE COMMISSION MUST APPROVE THE REGULATION FOR ADOPTION BY A
TWO THIRDS VOTE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION, WITH ONE OF THE
MEMBERS VOTING FOR APPROVAL BEING THE SECRETARY OR THE SECRETARY'S
DESIGNEE.
(D) A MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION:
(1) MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION; BUT
(2) IS ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE FUND FOR
REASONABLE TRAVEL EXPENSES RELATED TO ATTENDING MEETING AND OTHER
COMMISSION EVENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL
REGULATIONS.
