AN ACT concerning

Garrett County Salary Study Commission

FOR the purpose of requiring the Garrett County Salary Study Commission to report its
recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners every fourth year before a
specified date; and making stylistic changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
The Public Local Laws of Garrett County
Section 91-1 and 91-5

Article 12 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1985 Edition, as amended)

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
The Public Local Laws of Garrett County
Section 91-3(a) and 91-4

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 12 - Garrett County

91-1.

There is a Garrett County Salary Study Commission.

91-3.

(a) The Commission shall meet before January 1, [1993] 1997, and before
January 1 every [4th] FOURTH year thereafter.

91-4.

(a) The Commission shall study the salaries of the:

(1)     County Commissioners;

(2)     Board of Education;

(3)     Board of Supervisors of Elections;

(4)     Judges of the Orphans' Court
