(2)      THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS MAY IMPOSE A FINE OF
NOT MORE THAN $2,500 OR SUSPEND A LICENSE, OR BOTH, FOR ANY VIOLATION
THAT IS A CAUSE FOR SUSPENSION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE
AFFECTING CAROLINE COUNTY.

(3)      THE PENALTIES IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS SUBSECTION ARE:

(I)       IN ADDITION TO AND NOT INTENDED TO LIMIT OTHER
SPECIFIC OR GENERAL PENALTIES FOR THE SAME VIOLATION UNDER THIS
ARTICLE; AND

(II)     INTENDED TO BE INDEPENDENT OF ANY RELATED COURT
ACTION BASED ON THE SAME VIOLATION.

(4)      ALL MONEYS COLLECTED UNDER THIS SUBSECTION SHALL BE
DEPOSITED INTO THE GENERAL FUNDS OF CAROLINE COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the subsections in Section
203 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland shall be renumbered by the
publishers of the Annotated Code in accordance with the standard alphabetical
arrangement of the subsections found in Sections 8 through 20 of Article 2B of the Code
as of January 1, 1994.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Village of Friendship Heights - Charter Revision

FOR the purpose of altering the name of the special taxing district of "Friendship
Heights" and "The Hills" to be the "Village of Friendship Heights"; authorizing the
village council to appoint certain employees; repealing certain provisions
concerning a certain competitive bidding process; altering the dollar amount of
material or work for which the village council of the Village of Friendship Heights
shall purchase through a certain competitive bidding process; authorizing the village
council to engage in cooperative procurement; making stylistic changes; and
generally relating to the charter for the Village of Friendship Heights.
