[(1)] (I) 2 members of the House of Delegates, appointed by the Speaker;
[(2)] (II) 2 members of the Senate, appointed by the President;
[(3) 1 member designated by the United States Coast Guard;] and
[(4)] (III) [11] 12 members appointed by the Governor, as follows:

[(i)] 1. The Secretary of Natural Resources, or the Secretary's

designee;
Counties;

Delegation;

[(ii)] 2. 2 members representing the Maryland Association of

[(iii)] 3. The Director of the Maryland Historical Trust;

[(iv)] 4. 2 members representing the Maryland Congressional

[(v)] 5. 1 member representing the Maryland Municipal League;

2 members representing the Maryland Watermen's

[(vi)] 6.
Association; [and]

7. 1 MEMBER REPRESENTING THE ASSOCIATION OF
MARYLAND PILOTS; AND

[(vii)] 8. 2 members of the general public.

(2) A MEMBER OF THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD MAY SERVE AS A
TECHNICAL ADVISOR TO THE COMMISSION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.
