(Senate Bill 94)

AN ACT concerning

State Board for Professional Engineers - Contents of License

FOR the purpose of deleting the requirement that the Chairman and Secretary of the
State Board for Professional Engineers sign each license that the Board issues and
that each license be issued under seal of the Board.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Business Occupations and Professions

Section 14-312(c)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Business Occupations and Professions

14-312.

(c) The Board shall include on each license that the Board issues:

(1)     the full name of the licensee; AND

(2)     the registration number assigned by the Board to the licensee[; and

(3)     the signatures of the chairman and secretary of the Board, under seal of
the Board].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

State Board for Professional Engineers - Waiver of Examination Requirements

FOR the purpose of providing that an applicant for a professional engineer's license who
is licensed to practice engineering in another state or territory of the United States
or in a foreign country may qualify for licensure by providing adequate evidence to
the State Board for Professional Engineers that the applicant meets the education
