(1)     for a period of 10 years, shall consider the passage as valid for purposes
of meeting the license qualifications set forth under § 15-305(b) and (c) of this subtitle;

(2)     shall keep a record that the individual passed the examination; and

(3)     shall issue to the individual a certificate that states that the individual
passed the examination and that sets forth:

(i) the full name of the individual;

(ii) the termination date of the certificate, as provided under item (1)
of this subsection;

(iii) the certificate number assigned by the Board to the individual; and

(iv) the signatures of the chairman and secretary of the Board, under
seal of the Board.

(f) If an individual takes and fails a fundamentals of land surveying examination
under this section, the individual shall have the same rights regarding notice, review
procedures, and reexamination provided to an applicant under §§ 15-308 and 15-309 of
this subtitle.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

Home Improvement Licenses - Examination

FOR the purpose of requiring that an applicant for a home improvement contractor's,
subcontractor's, or salesperson's license be examined and pass the required test
prior to submitting an application for licensure to the Home Improvement
Commission; and generally relating to examinations for home improvement licenses.
