36.17.00.01 Aid to University of Maryland Medical

System

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
this appropriation may be used for no other
purpose than to fund the difference
between the costs of University Hospital
non-corporation employee pension costs
and the amount included in its rate
structure to cover such costs, and for
funding the cost of the employer's share of
health insurance incurred on behalf of
University Hospital non-corporation
retirees..........................................................

Special Fund Appropriation, provided that
this appropriation may be used for no other
purpose than to support MIEMSS Shock
Trauma Center at UMMS as provided in
Section 13-955 of the Transportation
Article. Furthermore, that the University of
Maryland Medical System shall provide to
the budget committees by November 1, 1993
a plan for phasing out State support for the
Shock Trauma Center..................................
