1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

Article who has received a scholarship
during academic year 1992-1993, shall
continue to be eligible to receive the full
amount of that award for the duration of
the eligibility period applicable to that
recipient. Further provided that any
unexpended appropriation for the
Senatorial Scholarship that is not needed to
meet scholarship award commitments that
are made to eligible recipients in
accordance with the above, may only be
expended if transferred to and distributed
under the General State Scholarship
Program under Title 18, Subtitle 3 of the
Education Article. Further provided that it
is the intent of the General Assembly that
any unexpended funds be used for General
State Scholarships in the same legislative
districts in which the funds originated.........

36.09.00.15 Delegate Scholarships

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
each recipient of a Delegate Scholarship
under Title 18, Subtitle 5 of the Education
Article who has received a scholarship
during academic year 1992-1993, shall
continue to be eligible to receive the full
amount of that award for the duration of
the eligibility period applicable to that
recipient. Further provided that any
unexpended appropriation for the Delegate
Scholarship that is not needed to meet
scholarship award commitments that are
made to eligible recipients in accordance
with the above, may only be expended if
transferred to and distributed under the
General State Scholarship Program under
Title 18, Subtitle 3 of the Education Article.
