HOWARD COUNTY

Bill No. 104

An Act amending Section 18.204 "Relocation or closing of public roads" of Subtitle 2
"Roads" of Title 18 "Public Works" of the Howard County Code in order to correct the
method by which roads are closed or relocated; making the provisions of this Act
retroactive to the effective date of Bill 30-1990; and declaring this Act to be an
emergency measure.

An Act increasing the size of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Advisory Board by adding 8
additional members, including 2 ex officio members, an advocacy group member, a
representative of a college or university, 3 additional general public members and a
student member.

[Amending § 12.1000(b), (c), and (d) of the Howard County Code.

Bill No. 117

An Act adding new Section 20.114 "Tax Credits for Property Leased by Religious
Organizations" to Subtitle 1 "Assessment, Levy and Tax Bills" to Title 20 "Taxation and
Public Credit" of the Howard County Code to permit a tax credit to be granted against
the property tax imposed on real property for that portion of the property that is leased,
occupied and used by a religious group or organization for certain purposes.

Bill No. 118

An Act pursuant to Section 10-210 of the Tax-Property Article of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, authorizing the issuance of estimated bills for personal property taxes under
certain circumstances.

[Adding § 20.103A to the Howard County Code.
