providing grants to the local jurisdictions to
improve community service programs. No
funds shall be expended for any State
personnel, on either a full-time or a
contractual basis. The Secretary of the
Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services shall identify those
jurisdictions requiring additional funding
for the purpose of standardizing procedures
and developing uniform guidelines for the
administration of their respective programs.
No individual jurisdiction may receive a
grant in excess of $300,000. The department
shall submit a report to the budget
committees by October 1, 1993 which
discusses the guidelines adopted for the
distribution and expenditure of funds and a
list of the jurisdictions to receive grants and

the amount of each grant awarded...............

Funds are appropriated in the Department of
Transportation budget to pay for services
provided by this program. Authorization is
hereby granted to use these receipts as
special funds for operating expenses in this
program.
