Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article V, Section 506,
"Candidates for Office", of said Charter to require that candidates file their petitions
with the Supervisors of Elections at least thirty (30) days, including Sunday and legal
holidays, prior to the election.

LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 93-2
Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article III, Section 308,
"Vacancies in Office", of said Charter, to prescribe the special election procedure
applicable when a Common Council member or the Mayor resigns, is removed or is
otherwise unwilling or unable to complete his/her term of office, and certain other
technical changes.
