LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 92-3

Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article V, Section 507,
"Special Elections or Appointments where there are no Qualifying Candidates", of said
Charter, under a new heading "Special Elections or Appointments", to provide a
procedure to be followed should a Common Council member resign or otherwise be
unwilling or unable to complete his/her term of office.

[Section 507 of the Charter of the Town of University Park, Prince George's
County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990
Replacement Edition), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date June 9, 1992]

LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 92-14

Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article V, Section 503 of said
Charter to provide for a thirty day period prior to. elections during which no voter
registration may occur, and year round voter registration and to change requirements for
permanent registration.

County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990
Replacement Edition), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION 92-16

Resolution of the Town of University Park, Maryland, pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, to amend certain provisions of the Charter of
the Town of University Park, by repealing and re-enacting Article V, Section 504,
"Elections", of said Charter to change the date for general municipal elections and extend
the hours during which the polls may be open.
