CUMBERLAND
CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 100

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland, adopted
pursuant to the authority contained in Article 11-E of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled
"Municipal Corporations," as said Section was enacted by Chapter 423 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, 1955, entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1991 EDITION), BY
REPEALING SECTION 35, 'DUTIES GENERALLY OF SUPERINTENDENT OF WATER AND
ELECTRIC LIGHT'."

[Section 35 of the Charter of the City of Cumberland, Allegany County, as found in
the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1990 Replacement Edition),
repealed.

Effective Date April 8, 1992]

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 101

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland, adopted
pursuant to the authority contained in Article 11-E of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled
"Municipal Corporations," as said Section was enacted by Chapter 423 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, 1955, entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1991 EDITION), BY
REPEALING SECTION 73A, 'DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME'."

repealed.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 102

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland, adopted
pursuant to the authority contained in Article 11-E of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957
Edition) entitled "Corporations-Municipal," sub-title "Home Rule", entitled "A
RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND
(1991 EDITION), BEING ARTICLE 1A OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LAWS OF MARYLAND,
BY REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION 154, OF SAID CHARTER SO AS TO PERMIT
THE GRANTING OF LOCAL PREFERENCE IN THE AWARDING OF CONTRACTS WHERE
A COMPETITIVE PUBLIC BIDDING IS REQUIRED."
