J.R. 6 1993 JOINT RESOLUTIONS WHEREAS, The current law does not adequately speak to the full range of RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That the RESOLVED, That this committee should include: (a) Three members of the House of Delegates of Maryland, appointed by the (b) Three members of the Senate of Maryland, appointed by the President of the (c) The following members appointed by the Governor: (1) One representative from each of the following: (ii) The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; (iii) The Department of Juvenile Services; (iv) The Social Services Administration; (v) The Office for Children, Youth, and Families; and (vi) The Court-Appointed Special Advocate Program administered by (2) Five educators, including teachers and principals; (3) One school psychologist; (4) One pupil personnel worker; and (5) Five individuals from the general public; and (d) One Juvenile Court judge appointed by the Chief Judge of the Court of RESOLVED, That the Governor appoint one member of the committee as its chair; RESOLVED, That the members of the committee shall serve without - 3134 -
