(1)     May order the licensee to pay a fine not exceeding $50,000 for each
violation of this subtitle; and

(2)     May order the licensee to compensate any person for financial injury or
other damage suffered as a result of the violation.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Family and Seasonal Leave and Work-Related Accident Leave

FOR the purpose of providing for the payment of the State health insurance subsidy
during a perod period of family or seasonal leave in compliance with recently
enacted federal family leave legislation; providing for the recovery of the State health
insurance subsidy allowed during a period of family leave under certain circumstances;
altering the amount of pay that an employee may receive while on work-related
accident leave: clarifying that employees receiving, work-related accident leave continue
certain benefits; generally relating to the effect of family and seasonal leave on
employee benefits and to payments to employees during work-related accident
leave; providing that certain provisions of this Act shall apply to certain accidents
occurring on or after a certain date; and making this Act an emergency measure.
