(4) (5) A UTILITY OR TRANSPORTATION EMERGENCY DECLARED BY
THE SECRETARY OR THE SECRETARY'S DESIGNEE MAY NOT EXTEND FOR MORE
THAN 3 DAYS, UNLESS RENEWED BY THE GOVERNOR PURSUANT TO § 6A OF
ARTICLE 16A OF THE CODE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1993.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety, has
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is
enacted.

Budget Bill

(Fiscal Year 1994)

AN ACT for the purpose of making the proposed appropriations contained in the State
Budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1994, in accordance with Article III,
Section 52 of the Maryland Constitution; and generally relating to appropriations
and budgetary provisions made pursuant to that section.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY. THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That subject to the provisions hereinafter set forth and subject to the
Public General Laws of Maryland relating to the Budget procedure, the several amounts
hereinafter specified, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to accomplish the purposes
designated, are hereby appropriated and authorized to be disbursed for the several
purposes specified for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994, as
hereinafter indicated.

PAYMENTS OF REVENUE TO CIVIL DIVISIONS OF THE STATE

19.10.00.00 Share of Racing Revenue

To Baltimore City, the Counties and the
Incorporated Towns of the State: The
respective shares due them from racing
revenue in accordance with Article 78B.
The amount shown herein is an estimate; it
is the intention that the amount to be
distributed shall be the actual share of the
revenue received.
