1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Chapter 197 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1992 be repealed.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

This repeals a Session law that is codified as § 7-205.1 of the Environment Article
by Section 1 of this Act.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the subheading
designations "Health - Deleterious Candy or Cakes", "Health - Infants' Eyes", "Health
- Milk - Pure - Skimmed", and "Health - Concealment of Medical Records" of Article
27 - Crimes and Punishments of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Obsolete subheadings as a result of the repeal of the sections they
headed in Article 27.

Occurred: Ch. 240, Acts of 1982 repealed Article 27, §§ 269 and 270 and
Chapter 297, Acts of 1988 repealed Article 27, §§ 271 and 272 under the
subheading "Health - Deleterious Candy or Cakes; Ch. 21, Acts of 1982
repealed Article 27, § 273 under the subheading "Health - Infant's Eyes; Ch.
240, Acts of 1982 also repealed Article 27, §§ 274, and 275 under the
subheading "Health - Milk - Pure - Skimmed"; Ch. 21, Acts of 1982 repealed
Article 27, § 275A under the subheading "Health - Concealment of Medical
Records".

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article - Education

3-901.

(a)     The Somerset County Board shall be elected [from Somerset County at
large] and consists of [:

(1)     One] ONE member ELECTED from each commissioner district in the
County[; and

(2)     One member from the County at large].

(b)     (1) A member from a commissioner district shall be a resident of that
district.

(2) [The member from the County at large shall be a resident of the
County.

(3)] A candidate for the County Board shall be a registered voter of the
County.

[(4) (i)] (3) A member from a commissioner district who no longer
resides in that district may not continue as a member of the County Board.
