[(b) On request by the Committee, the Commissioner shall make available to the
Committee information that shows current wages or otherwise is relevant to adoption of
regulations to carry out this subtitle.

(c) Once every 2 years, the Committee:

(1)     shall hold a public hearing to review the regulations currently in effect to
cany out this subtitle; and

(2)     then after the hearing, submit to the Commissioner a written report that may
include recommendations for changes with regard to rates, coverage, and regulations. 1

SUBJECT TO THE EVALUATION AND REESTABLISHMENT PROVISIONS OF THE
MARYLAND PROGRAM EVALUATION ACT, SUBTITLES 2 AND 4 OF THIS TITLE SHALL
TERMINATE AND BE OF NO EFFECT AFTER JULY 1, 2004.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.
