SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND,
That Section(s) 2-108(a)(1) of Article - Business Regulation of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 2-108(a)(2)
through (36), respectively, of Article - Business Regulation of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be renumbered to be Section(s) 2-108(a)(1) through (35), respectively.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland read as
follows:

The Commissioner shall collect in advance, and the persons so served shall pay the
following fees to the Commissioner:

(1) Certificates of authority:

(i) Application for original certificate of authority: For
filing applications for certificate of authority, articles of incorporation (except
as provided in subsection (2) of this section) and other charter documents,
bylaws, financial statement, examination report, power of attorney to the
