Ch. 523

(e)     No personnel of the Commission or of the Office of People's Counsel shall
divulge to any person any fact or information learned during the course of inspection of
the plant, or the examination of the records, of any public service company, except insofar
as may be directed by the Commission or a court, or as may be authorized by law.

(f)      Nothing contained herein shall preclude an employee of the Commission or
the Office of People's Counsel from accepting a gift from a relative.

(g)     No personnel of the Commission or of the Office of [the] People's Counsel
shall violate any of the provisions of this article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

(House Bill 454)

AN ACT concerning

Washington County Suburban Sanitary District

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Washington County Suburban Sanitary District
(District) and the Washington County Sanitary Commission (Commission) to
exercise certain powers and duties; authorizing the Washington County Board of
Commissioners to change certain names, amend certain boundaries of the District,
and change, add to, or diminish certain powers and purposes of the District and the
Washington County Sanitary Commission; specifying the membership of the
Commission; providing for the appointment of the members of the Commission;
establishing the terms of the members of the Commission; authorizing the County to
remove a member under certain circumstances; requiring the Commission to set the
salaries of its members subject to certain approval; requiring the District to pay the
salaries of the Commissioner; requiring the Commission to exercise certain powers;
providing for the appointment of an Executive Director of the District; specifying
the duties of the Executive Director; authorizing the County to terminate the
Executive Director or the Assistant Executive Director under certain circumstances;
requiring the Commission to set the compensation of the Executive Director subject
to certain approval; requiring the District to pay certain compensation; authorizing
the appointment of an Assistant Executive Director of the District under certain
circumstances; specifying the duties of the Comptroller of the District; authorizing
the Commission and Washington County to create subdistricts by passage of a joint
resolution; specifying the content of certain joint resolutions; establishing
procedures for the proposal of certain projects; providing for the payment of certain
costs; applying certain provisions of law to the District and its employees; specifying
the duties of the Comptroller; requiring the District to appoint an independent
certified public accountant to perform certain duties; making certain exceptions;
requiring certain owners of property to take certain actions concerning the
