AN ACT concerning

Retirement and Pension Systems - State Maryland Aviation Administration - Fire Rescue

Service

FOR the purpose of requiring certain full-time employees of the State Maryland Aviation
Administration Fire Rescue Service to become members of the Pension System for
Employees of the State of Maryland; altering a certain definition to include certain
employees in the employees retirement system; and limiting membership in the
Baltimore City fire and police employees retirement system to those full-time State
Maryland Aviation Administration fire rescue employees hired on or before a
certain date.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 73B - Pensions

2-101.

(e) (2) "Employee" also includes:

(iv) Any assessor unless the assessor is a member of a retirement or
pension system operated by a political subdivision of the State; [and]

(v) The employees of a board of supervisors of elections; AND
