(2) THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS MAY APPROVE THE ISSUANCE OR TRANSFER OF A LICENSE INTO
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE 24TH OR 25TH ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES DISTRICT
PROVIDED ANY OFF-SALE PRIVILEGES OF THE LICENSE ARE PERMANENTLY
WAIVED AS LONG AS THE LICENSE REMAINS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
DISTRICT.

Chapter 709 of the Acts of 1988, as amended by Chapter 599 of the Acts of 1989,
as amended by Chapter 405 of the Acts of 1991

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions of Article
2B, § 53(k) shall remain effective [for a period of 5 years] UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 1995
and, at the end of [June 30, 1993] SEPTEMBER 30, 1995, and with no further action
required by the General Assembly, Article 2B, § 53(k) shall be abrogated and of no
further force and effect.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Alcoholic Beverages

(Class H Beer and Light Wine Licenses)

(Motion Picture Theater Prohibition)

(Class B-DH Beer and Light Wine Licenses)

FOR the purpose of including Prince George's County among those counties in which a
Class H boor and light wine alcoholic beverages license may be issued; specifying
the annual license fee; deleting th
e prohibition against issuing an alcoholic
beverages license in Prince George's County to a motion picture theater and
authorizing the issuance of such a license
creating, a new Class B-DH (drafthouse)
beer and light wine license; specifying the jurisdiction in which the new license is
available; specifying requirements for applicants for the license and the determination of
the number of licenses; providing for the effective date of this Act;
and generally relating
to alcoholic beverages in Prince George's County.
