SECTION WITH THE LOCAL ELECTION BOARD OF THE COUNTY OR BALTIMORE CITY
WHERE THE CANDIDATE RESIDES. THE REPORT TO THE LOCAL ELECTION BOARD
SHALL BE FILED ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE SET FORTH IN § 26-11(A) AND (C) OF
THIS ARTICLE SUBSECTIONS (A) AND (C) OF THIS SECTION AND SHALL NOT BE
SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF RELATING TO THE ASSESSMENT OF A LATE
FILING FEE PROVIDED UNDER § 26-13 OF THIS ARTICLE.
(2) THIS SUBSECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO CANDIDATES FOR THE
OFFICES OF GOVERNOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR, COMPTROLLER, ATTORNEY
GENERAL, OR JUDGE OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OR THE APPELLATE COURT.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Laws - Vehicle Suspension and Bumper Height - Alterations
FOR the purpose of prohibiting the operation of certain vehicles on a highway if the
vehicle has been altered in any way that would reduce the effectiveness of the
vehicle's suspension or render the vehicle dangerous in the event of a single vehicle
accident; altering certain provisions relating to restrictions on bumper heights;
prohibiting the operation of a vehicle on a highway if the height of the vehicle's
frame side rails exceeds certain limitations; providing for the construction of a
certain provision of law; authorizing the Motor Vehicle Administration and the
State Police jointly to adopt certain regulations; clarifying language; and generally
relating to vehicle suspensions and bumper heights.
