AN ACT concerning

Lead Based Paint Occupation Accreditation of Lead Paint Abatement Services

FOR the purpose of requiring that persons who engage in lead occupations to provide
lead paint abatement services be accredited by the Department of the Environment;
defining certain terms; authorizing requiring the Department to adopt certain
regulations; providing that the Department shall set reasonable fees to cover certain
costs; establishing a Lead Accreditation Fund with certain funding sources;
providing for the enforcement of this subtitle Act; declaring the intention of the
General Assembly; and generally relating to lead based paint occupation
accreditation of lead paint abatement services.
