1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Estates and Trusts

3-206.

(a)     The election by a surviving spouse to take [his] AN elective share shall be
made not later than seven months after the date of the first appointment of a personal
representative under a will. The court may extend the time for election, before its
expiration, for a period not to exceed three months at a time, upon notice given to the
personal representative and for good cause shown.

(b)     The surviving spouse may withdraw [his] THE election at any time [within 30
days after] BEFORE the expiration of the. time for [filing claims] MAKING THE
ELECTION TO TAKE AN ELECTIVE SHARE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico County - Alcoholic Beverages

(BWL Class C Golf Course License)

FOR the purpose of creating in Wicomico County a Class C golf club or organization
alcoholic beverages license; specifying the fee for the license; making stylistic
changes; making this Act an emergency measure; and generally relating to alcoholic
beverages in Wicomico County.
