UTILIZE RESOURCES IN THE OTHER STATE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCEMENT OF
ANY PROVISIONS THAT ARE SUSPENDED BY THE ORDER.
9.
(b) If the federal government, ANOTHER STATE, or any agency or officer
[thereof] OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OR ANOTHER STATE offers to the State or
any political subdivision thereof, services, equipment, supplies, materials, or funds by way
of gift, grant or loan for purposes of emergency management the State, acting through the
Governor, or such political subdivision, acting with the consent of the Governor, and
through its executive officer or governing body, may accept such offer and may authorize
any officer of the State or of the political subdivision as the case may be, to receive such
aid and assistance.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning
Town of North East - Police Administration Building Loan of 1991
FOR the purpose of amending Chapter 641 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1991,
the Town of North East - Police Administration Building Loan of 1991, to extend
the time for the President and Commissioners of the Town of North East to present
certain evidence of a matching fund to the Board of Public Works.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 641 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1991

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur indebtedness on
behalf of the State of Maryland through a State loan to be known as the Town of North
East - Police Administration Building Loan of 1991 in the total principal amount equal to
the lesser of (i) $90,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided in accordance
with Section 1(5) below. This loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of
