AN ACT concerning

Unemployment Insurance - Conforming, Clarifying, and Technical Provisions

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of "governmental entity"; defining "rating
year"; altering the computation date for the purpose of calculating contribution
rates for employing units; clarifying the contribution rate calculation for
reorganized employers, predecessor employers, and successor employers; clarifying
the provisions on the between term denial of benefits to individuals who work for or
on behalf of an educational institution; deleting an obsolete cross-reference;
providing for the application of certain provisions of this Act; making this Act an
emergency measure; and generally relating to the unemployment insurance law.
