FOR the purpose of prohibiting any person under a certain age from being employed by
a holder of a license in Montgomery County to deliver alcoholic beverages off-site
except under certain circumstances.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 115(d)(1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

115.

(d) (1) A Montgomery County alcoholic beverages licensee may not make [a]
AN OFF-SITE retail delivery of alcoholic beverages unless:

(I) [the] THE deliverer is at least:

1.        [18] 21 years old; OR

2.        18 YEARS OLD AND IS ACCOMPANIED BY A SUPERVISOR
WHO IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD; and

(II) - [the] THE person taking possession of the delivery provides the
deliverer with written certification supported by documentary proof that the person is of
legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages. Certification shall be in the form set forth in §
118A(1) of this article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission - Educational Television

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Public Broadcasting Commission, instead
of the State Board of Education, to control the scheduling and programming of
educational television and radio programs used in public schools and adult
education in this State; making conforming changes; and generally relating to
authority over educational television.
