SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

158.

(n) (8) A license commissioner may not serve in any other position of public
office. At the time of filing a certificate of candidacy for election to a public office, or
within 30 days prior to the filing deadline for the primary election for the public office
sought, whichever occurs later, a license commissioner shall certify to the local Board of
Supervisors of Elections under oath that the individual is no longer a license
commissioner. The certification shall be accompanied by a letter addressed to the
Governor containing the resignation of the commissioner from the Board of License
Commissioners for Prince George's County.

DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Error: Title of bill being cured incorrectly stated that the bill prohibited a
Prince George's County Board of Alcoholic Beverages License Commissioner
from holding any other position of public office in the county.

Occurred: Chapter 419 (House Bill 1349) of the Acts of 1982.
Article 48A - Insurance Code

(c) All rates shall be made in accordance with the following principles:

(4) (i) Risks may be grouped by classifications for the establishment of
rates and minimum premiums. Classification rates may be modified to produce rates for
individual risks in accordance with rating plans which establish standards for measuring
