5-110.

(d) (1) In this subsection, the term "minority business enterprise" has the
meaning stated in [§ 14-301(e)] § 14-301 of the State Finance and Procurement Article.

Occurred: As a result of Ch. 708, Acts of 1990, which renumbered §
14-301(e) of the State Finance and Procurement Article to be § 14-301(f) but
which is also subject to abrogation in 1995.

5-202.

(a) (10) "Chapter 1 eligible count" means the number of children eligible to
receive services under the provisions of Chapter 1 of the [Education Consolidation and
Improvement Act of 1981] HAWKINS-STAFFORD ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY
SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT AMENDMENTS OF 1988 as determined by the U.S. Department
of Education.

Occurred: As a result of the passage by the United States Congress of Public
Law 100-297, effective July 1, 1988, known as the Hawkins-Stafford
Elementary and Secondary School Improvement Amendments of 1988, which
repealed the Education Consolidation and Improvement Act of 1981 and
reauthorized its provisions.

6-108.

(a) A county board may make an agreement or financial arrangement with an
institution of higher education that satisfies the conditions of [§ 12- 203] § 11-202 of this
article, to provide classroom or administrative office experience for student teachers and
student interns.

Error: Obsolete cross-reference in § 6-108(a) of the Education Article.

Occurred: As a result of Ch. 246, Acts of 1988 which reorganized the system
of higher education in the State and transferred the provisions relating to
Certificates of Approval for institutions of postsecondary education to Title 11
of the Education Article.

6-201.

(d) (1) Supervisory and administrative personnel shall be appointed in each
county in accordance with ratios established by the rules and regulations of the State
Board and within the ratio established under [§ 2-205(n)] § 2-205(M) of this article.
