BILL 19 - 1988

AN ACT to amend Chapter 138 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "Electrical Standards", Section 4 thereof, titled "Board
of Electrical Examiners", by repealing and reenacting
Subparagraph B of Section 4 with amendments and additions; and
Section 5 thereof, titled "Removal of Members," by reappealing
and reenacting with additions.

WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County, Maryland,
finds it advisable to amend the "Electrical Standards "Chapter of
the Wicomico County Code, to provide sufficient members to better
ensure a quorum at meetings of the Board of Electrical Examiners,
and to provide for removal of members;

BILL 20 - 1988

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 201,
titled "Composition" of Article II, titled "County Council", of
the Charter of Wicomico County, Maryland, as adopted by the
voters of Wicomico County, Maryland, on December 3, 1964, to
provide for the election of County Council members by district
and at large and to provide for the creation of such districts.

BILL 21 - 1988

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "ZONING" by creating a new ARTICLE IX-A, titled "Light
Business and Residential District", to follow ARTICLE IX of the
County Code titled "Light Business and Institutional District",
and by enacting Section 225-40.1, titled "Purpose"; Section
225-41.1, titled "Uses Permitted"; and Section 225-41.1, titled
"Minimum Development Standards".

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid Zoning
Chapter of the Wicomico County Code, upon the favorable
recommendation of the Wicomico County Planning and Zoning
Commission, by adding ARTICLE IX-A immediately after ARTICLE IX
that is presently set forth as part of Chapter 225 of the
Wicomico County Zoning Code to provide for Light Business and
Residential Districts as well as Light Business and Institutional
Districts.
